We have been very busy in the Senior Infants classroom from the start of term 1. We have developed lots of new skills by working in small groups. It has been lots of fun completing tasks with different friends! The children have enjoyed playing games to develop literacy and numeracy concepts and have shown how great they work as part of a team.

Getting ready for Halloween was busy in the classroom as we did lots of art work and played some funny Halloween games with flour, wiggly worms and green slime! The children were delighted with the opportunity to visit Monivea Woods and explore the hedgerows in the search for Autumn leaves. We spotted signs along the way that showed us various locations close to Monivea and stopped for a play in the village playground.
