Senior Infants-2025/ Ms. Grey

Last Friday we had a visit from a father and son - Fionn and Jonathan Angus  otherwise known as Fionnathan. They shared with us their love for the  Irish Wildlife with their powepoint presentation and beautiful photographs.  Some of the animals we learned about were badgers, deer, foxes, bats and goats. At the end of their presentation they entertained us by playing a jig on the guitar and fiddle.

We have started our Halloween art with our hand print spiders. Our pumpkins

One of our rhymes last week was Humpty Dumpty. As part of our art for the week, we used the rhyme for inspiration The children had great fun painting  their eggs. When dry, they drew in a nose and a mouth and glued on googly eyes.  Then they coloured in the brick wall and glued their completed Humpty Dumpty onto  the wall Here are some samples of their work below
