Term 3 2024

 Our theme for April was Space. The children had lots of fun learning about Space. We watched footage of the first space landing, learned about Neil Armstrong, looked at the names of the planets, investigated facts about Space, and also created our own aliens. During Aistear we designed spaceships, and built rockets, the role-play area was a Space Travel Agent, we made planets with playdough, and created Space stations with blocks.

We really enjoyed the Teddy Bear's Picnic in the playground and the teddies did too! We also dressed up for Book Week, which was fun. In Maths we have been learning about Money and also how to count on. We played maths games and also played shop as a fun way to use what we have learnt!

During P.E. we have been creating and completing obstacle courses. We also went to Monivea Woods to do bark rubbings and to have a play in the woods. We had a sneaky ice-pop on the way back to school!
