 We had a visit from the Gardaí in February. We took turns trying on the Garda jacket and hat and also took turns to sit in the Garda car! 

We were learning about the number nine and did lots of work in our books and in groups. We tried to make the number nine using playing cards.

During Aistear in February, we made a tower using lego in our groups, we learned about different types of houses, we designed our ideal house, we role played the airport and designed our own passports.

Everyone has really enjoyed reading 'The Lighthouse Keeper's Lunch' book. We completed lots of activities on the book including designing our own sandwiches, sequencing the story, singing sea shanties and we made 3D lighthouse pictures.
